ST-36 (Zusanli, 足三里)

Overview

ST-36 (Zusanli, 足三里) means “Leg Three Miles.” A legendary point for longevity and stamina, it belongs to the Stomach meridian and is renowned for supporting the digestive system, immune resilience, and overall vitality.
It is often used in wellness routines to strengthen Qi and blood and promote grounded energy.

Location

Located four finger-breadths below the kneecap, about one finger-breadth lateral to the anterior crest of the tibia (shin bone).
Apply pressure where you feel a slight tenderness or a deep, dull ache.

💡 Tip: Use both thumbs to press simultaneously on each leg while taking deep breaths.
