David Ta-Jen Lin

EAMP, Dipl, O.M. (NCCAOM)

David has been passionate about pursuing and practicing healing medicine from a young age. He started teaching himself meditation and qigong at the age of 15, and this dedication to holistic health has stayed with him ever since. In 2006, he received his license in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University, one of the most reputable schools in Complementary Medicine in the United States.

David's commitment to furthering his knowledge in Oriental Medicine is evident in his extensive certifications and training. He is a certified practitioner by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and has pursued additional training to broaden his expertise.

Despite his years of experience as a medical professional, David firmly believes in the value of ongoing education and continuously seeks out new opportunities to enhance his knowledge and skills. As he often says, "I embrace my place as a humble part of the universe's vastness."

To this end, David has pursued specialized training in a range of complementary medicine modalities, including Advanced Qigong Therapy with renowned Qigong Master Zhao Xue-Zhong, Chinese Auricular Medicine with Dr. Li-Chun Huang, Pulse Diagnostic System with well-known scholar Dr. Wei-Yen Chang, Acupuncture training for stroke and spinal injury patients with Dr. Zhu, and F.A.C.E. Facial acupuncture by Dr. Song Jeong Hwa & Dr. Jui-Pin Shen.

David's dedication to Complementary Medicine extends beyond his practice, as he is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to help people heal and find hope. He has achieved several noteworthy accomplishments, including the establishment of the first Postpartum Recovery Program in the Pacific Northwest in 2012, which has helped numerous mothers recover from childbirth. He also introduced the first F.A.C.E. facial acupuncture treatment in Seattle in 2018, which has been met with significant community demand. Additionally, he rebranded the clinic to  HopeSpring Wellness, where he focuses on the delivery of mind-body connection, setting him apart from other practitioners.
